Main distribution panels are called panel groups consisting of switchgear and control units that are directly supplied by the main electrical power source and designed to distribute and control electrical energy to consumers. Main distribution boards consist of functions that perform four basic functions.

The first function of the main distribution is to connect the energy produced by the generators to the grid with main switches. Generators generally produce 3 phase 400V AC energy on ships. This energy, which is collected in the main busbars, is directed to the sub-distribution boards or directly to the consumers through the control of the power control systems.

A power distribution panel is the name of the system that divides the electrical current into many circuits and provides a protective fuse or circuit breaker for each circuit. The power distribution board divides the electrical system into auxiliary circuits in the safest way. It is an auxiliary structure to prevent accidents such as fire or short circuit.

The power distribution panel is the cabinet where the switchgear materials and cables are used together in the transmission and distribution of electricity to the system. Power distribution boards are also known as electrical panels. The main function of the electrical panel is to divide the electricity into multiple secondary or auxiliary circuits. Power distribution panels combine and operate circuits in many different locations at one central point. In this way, the entire electrical network can be accessed from a single point.

The power distribution board operates with a main power switch that controls the power of all circuits. The power distribution board separates all the circuits individually into their own switches. Thus, the electricity is turned off at a certain point and there is no power outage at other points.

Power Distribution Panel Usage Areas

The power distribution board is used in various fields in daily life. The power distribution board is located wherever there is electricity. Proper distribution of electricity does its job. It is used in businesses, factories, industrial facilities, buildings, houses and workplaces, apartments, hotels, in short, in every area where electricity is available.

Thanks to the power distribution panel, the electricity of the place can be accessed from a single point and can be easily controlled. Electrical energy is distributed from the power distribution panel in the facility, business, factory and workplace. In workplaces without transformers, the energy is distributed to the facility by coming to the distribution panel.

What is in the Power Distribution Board?

The power distribution board has additional features besides its standard features. The features of the power distribution board differ depending on the model. Modular power distribution boards come standard with features such as a hinged front door.

Specially designed panels, on the other hand, are produced specifically for needs. It is designed with special production solutions and requirements in mind. Body, color, sheet thickness, covers are produced on demand.
